At Pretius, we are looking for Senior Java Developer to a global-scale platform in the field of gaming and lotteries project.
Project / Role
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Architect solutions for complex technical challenges
- Write unit tests and participate in code/design reviews
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and problem-solving support
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver projects on time
- Drive continuous improvement and develop tools to enhance workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with software debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Concurrent Programming concepts
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes development environments
- Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Apache Kafka
- Good English communication skills (B2/C1)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
- Experience with design patterns, code quality practices, and unit testing will be considered an advantage
