At Pretius, we are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of the products within the regulated gaming and gambling sector.
Project / Role
- Perform functional testing of terminal applications on new handheld devices
- Compare test results with the existing application running on current payment terminals
- Execute functional and regression testing for the lottery system
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Experience with payment terminal testing, hardware testing, or device integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Fluent in English (min. B2+)
